How often should I use the retinol products?

We recommend using the retinol products in the evening, underneath your normal facial moisturizer. We recommend using the retinol products for a period of 28 days and then discontinuing use for a period of 2 months. Repeat this process 4 times per year.

How do I know if the Perlabella retinol products or the Hyaluronic Acid is right for me?

Perlabella Retinol (Eye & Face) helps diminish fines lines and wrinkles.
Perlabella Hyaluronic Acid - moisturizes, increases elasticity and fills fine lines.

Are Perlabella products fragrance free?

Yes, Perlabella products are fragrance free.

Are Perlabella products tested on animals?

No, Perlabella products are not tested on animals.

We do not recommend using the Vitamin C and the Q10 together.

Which Perlabella products can I use together?

We recommend applying the retinol products at night (to avoid exposure to sun) and the Hyaluronic Acid, Vitamin C OR Q10 in the morning, underneath your normal moisturizers.

What makes Perlabella PureDose Pearls SO different from other anti-aging skin products?

We strictly advise against using both alpha hydroxy acid and retinol products at the same time. We do not have any information about the separate use of these products at different times of the day (a.m. and p.m.).

Are your products helpful for acne-prone skin? Does your Retinol Face product work as effectively on preventing acne as Retin A?

According to the feedback we have received from customers, our Retinol Face product benefits acne-prone skin.
While our Retinol Face product has been known to help control acne, it is less effective than Retin A.

The Vitamin C pack says to apply twice per day. Is one PureDose Pearl able to stretch for the a.m. and p.m. usages?

Each PureDose Pearl is intended for one application, whether in the morning or evening. If you would like to apply it twice a day for one week, you will need to buy 2 packages of our 7-count pearls or our larger package of 28 pearls.

Can your products for the face be applied to the neck and chest?

Yes.

Is it safe to use your Retinol products over your Vitamin C Face?

You can use them both to enhance younger, healthier-looking skin. We suggest you use the Vitamin C Face in the morning and the Retinol products strictly in the evening.

Does dimethacone clog pores?

Silicones, thanks to their structure, do not clog pores like mineral oil or petrolatum does.

What is the difference between Retinol, Vitamin C and Q10?

They are three distinct anti-aging products that work in different ways: Retinol has a repairing action, stimulating collagen production and promoting healthier skin cells to give the appearance of smoother, firmer skin. Vitamin C is an antioxidant and helps counteract free radicals. It can also help wrinkles appear less noticeable. The coenzyme Q10 is an antioxidant that protects and enhances the lipids defenses that are in the lipids skin barrier, helping boost skin repair and regeneration.
